REMEMBER

What words are you using with yourself that you might not even realize are blocking your growth and development?  Do you realize what you put into your mind is the outcome of what you are going to attract to yourself?  What does this even mean?  You are telling yourself you are on the best mindset track of your life and you are focused on being kind to yourself.  You feel like you are more positive today than you have ever been in your whole life. 

 

But, what is it that is holding you back that you just can’t figure out?

 

Your self-talk and the words that we use on a daily basis!!  It is the little things that sometimes we don’t even realize we are doing that are causing situations in our lives that cause us to revert to beating ourselves up.  This lesson I learned a few years back when I first met one of the most positive people ever.   My now brother-in-law was the most positive person I had ever met.  He was always upbeat and he always just went with the flow.  I loved this about him and we would have great conversation about being positive. 

 

 

One day he said something that really stuck with me!  I had told him “don’t forget to…” and he had corrected me and said “remember…”. I was a little taken aback, but then he explained it.  I was always forgetting things. I was always telling myself, my kids, my husband, don’t forget to do whatever it was and of course a lot of the time we would forget.  He explained to me how our minds do what we ask them.  They bring us the things we put out, and when I as using the words “don’t forget” I was attracting forgetting.  I would absolutely forget what I was supposed to do.  

 

By replacing “don’t forget” with “remember” I was able to start remembering the things I was supposed to be doing or getting.  I was able to start moving forward on things because I had remembered where I had left off and wasted less time having to figure out what it was I needed to do.  

 

But, why does the mind not get it when you say “don’t forget”? You don’t want to forget, and that is what you are asking for, so why is it not bringing that to fruition?  It is because the mind does not see negatives.  It does not see leading words, only the actual thing we want. 

"Be sure that you are using the words of what it is that you really want to manifest into your life, and not what you don’t want. "

How are you manifesting things into your life without even realizing it? 

After really analyzing this concept, I can firmly attest to this because for years and years I had said “I don’t want 3 kids!”  I would explain why I didn’t want three kids and I would rarely, if ever, say "I only want 2 kids.”  So low and behold, 10 years after my second child was born, the universe blessed us with the 3rd child I had always talked about.  It doesn’t hear the “don’t want” part.  It only hears the thing.  So here it is that I have 3 kids.  

 

Always assess what it is you are telling yourself as you speak words out loud as well as the ones in your mind. Be sure that you are using the words of what it is that you really want to manifest into your life, and not what you don’t want. Your mind is a very powerful instrument and we have to be careful how we are using it.  Even into the little things of remembering to stop at the store on the way home and grab milk.  Don’t forget you need to REMEMBER!!
